To Kai On, Benny was born in 1994, Hong Kong. He studied and engaged in the hospitality industry for several years. He was inspired by different artists from different countries when he was traveling alone. He decided to change his way of living by doing works. He studies the Higher Diploma in Fine Art Programme (Photography & Ceramics) from the Hong Kong Art School at twenty-one years old and finished the RMIT Bachelor of Arts (Ceramics) which is co-presented by Hong Kong Art School & RMIT University.

To inspires from ancient myth, historical relics, and anime and electronic games in pop culture. He intends to integrate fiction and reality, combining with traditional techniques for ceramics such as moldflip, pinching, casting and stacking different muds and glaze to produce unique and mysterious modern mythological "cultural relics".

Apart from displaying in exhibitions and private collections, his arts pieces such as flowerpot and tableware collaborate with the stores in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

陶啟安(1994 香港)自中四輟學後修讀並從事飲食與酒店業數年後, 決心以創作改變其生活方式。於21歲時就讀香港藝術學院的藝術高級文憑課程雙主修攝影和陶瓷, 並於 2021 年畢業於香港藝術學院藝術系學士主修陶瓷。
陶氏的創作取材自古代神話、歷史文物及當代流行文化中的動漫與電子遊戲。他意圖把虛構與現實揉合, 再結合傳統陶藝中倒模、手捏、拉坯與堆疊不同泥漿和釉藥等技法, 製作出一件件獨特又神秘的現代神話「文物」。

參與個人展覽包括 《ARCHAEOLOGY IN RPG vol.1》(Yrellag Gallery, 2021)、《TKOB-24-25YRS-OBJs》(Mist Gallery, 2021)。聯展包括 《偶爾 我們用泥弓把森林分成兩半》(在森林和圓嘢,2020)、《保鮮》(Mudheytong 物器堂, 2020)、《香港+台灣+日本 三地 龍舌蘭展》(在森林和圓嘢,2019)。陶氏的作品除展覽和私人收藏外,他所製作的植物鉢及餐桌器物與香港和台灣的店舖亦有合作關係。藝術家現居於香港。
